One Armed Musicians

I have only really become aware of musicians who have overcome adversity and continued playing their instrumenst after accidents.

We're all aware of Rick Allen of Def Leopard

... or Bill Clements on bass...

... I even found an old orchestra that existed (click here for the site)

or the pianist, Paul Wittgenstein

Are there many of these musicians out there do you know out of curiousity?

There's a one armed drummer in our locality and he does an excellent job. I believe he was a pro before and played with some pretty big names.

He lost it due to diabetes and was told he'd never cut it again, but he truly does a great job - even managing to pull off things like Black Night by Deep Purple.
Well done to him for overcoming his difficulties! Just getting set up and packing up must be so tricky.

There is a guitarist from Iowa (I want to say the Cedar Rapids area, but I could be wrong) that only has his left hand. He has a device that holds a pick that he straps on to the end of his right arm.
