I was preparing for an audition and learned an entire album in 2 days. I got the gig. I try to learn something new all the time.

Week 1: Here Comes the Sun (done)
Week 2: I'll Be Here Awhile (done)
Week 3: Yellow Submarine (started)
Plan for this week is to finish YS and learn The Chain.

With everyone in the house spouting at both ends at some point (including me), I got nothing done. I had really hoped to get a LITTLE farther into the year before I started missing weeks. Plan for this week is to try and tighten up the first two, and start working on the other two. I'll make up the lost songs over the summer when I should have a little more free time.

I didnt record it, but it was actually pretty fun...for about 5 minutes.

Week 5: The Chain (done) | The Chain was pretty simple. YS may have to wait later in the year....I just can't seem to get a handle on it. Not sure why. This week, I'm not sure about. Feeling the need to get some surf on. Maybe Happy as a Clam, by Kelp. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3EAG62XtA8

Haven't learned anything new......mostly because I've found some guys to hopefully get my band reformed, so I've spent what little time I've had refreshing my memory on all the old stuff. A good thing, but kind of derailed me. I'll get back to learning new material here in a couple of weeks, hopefully.
