Which one should I get? Peavey or Yammy?

I'm down to these two. I like the Speakon and "better quality" of the Yamahas plus I've had good luck with Yamaha products in the past. I don't TRULY need 15", do I?

I like the plastic as opposed to the "fuzz" on the Peaveys, and they're about $100 cheaper and I can get the 15" as opposed to the 12".

I'm using it for a PA for vocals/guitar at smaller places that don't give you a PA. I'd probably not run my bass through it since I have plenty of power.

What are you using it for? Either is good. I have had good luck with both.

Oh, duh! I always leave something out of my posts. I'm using it for a PA for vocals/guitar at smaller places that don't give you a PA. I'd probably not run my bass through it since I have plenty of power.

Where are you in ND, by the way? My parents were from Reeder.

They're both great. I've used similar Yamahas with really excellent results. In that kind of situation, you may want to run the kick drum through them as well, keep that in mind. The Peaveys look lighter, it kills me to write that.
