Soooo...after months of threats and psychological torture I've convinced a friend of mine who plays piano to buy a synth so we can start a two-piece electronica band. We like different types of music (my friend likes more "pop" electronic music while I'm more into trance and chiptune stuff such as Crystal Castles), although there are some bands we both like (Justice, MSTRKRFT, Daft Punk or Digitalism to name a few).
You may be wondering why do you need to know this. Well, I'd like the name of the band to reflect some kind of connection between our styles. |

"Appulse" is a cool word I learned while going through a band name frenzy. It's the opposite of "repulse," and it means to draw everything together, like "attract".
But when you say this, it would sound like "electronica pulse" but it's actually something different!
