What brands are the best bang for the buck? What do you use? (looking for a 5)

I like Hercules stands (I have a single, a double and a triple stand), but they're rather pricey. They won't drop your bass(es), and they're not easy to knock over.

I use a Warwick Rockstand 7 space. Easy to transport and holds everybody's main and a backup. I wanna say it was about $50.00 4 or 5 years ago.

Hercules stands are great, but im looking more along the lines of a roadrunner that holds 5 basses, not necessarily roadrunner if there is a better bang for the buck.

Hi.

Another Warw(o?)ic user here. Mine's a 5er.

BTW, does anyone else have a Warwoic badge in theirs? Misprint? Fake?

Regards

I have a Hercules 5-Bass stand.

Love it. Low to the ground, ROCK SOLID, and does all the support with the body so the necks are free... nothing that can cause issues.

And the stands that the basses sit into rotate 360 degrees. So I can turn them to the side or face towards the front of the stage.

Hercules and Ultimate are the best I've ever found. Both are well worth what they cost, they hang instruments by the neck, and they're stable. Ultimate folds up smaller.

My Hercules actually supports the body and the neck isn't touched.

Mine is modular. I can do it as a stand with three basses/guitars or with five.

The photos below are of both configurations. The first two photos are from a photo shoot I did for Spector with a friend's Ferrari. I do contract photography/cinematography and design for Stuart Spector and I own several Spector basses.

The last photo is in my office where I keep my basses handy to record stuff or just play if I need to relax some.

I got my Hercules locally in LA second-hand from a musician buddy of mine. I paid $50 for it.
