I have a "Virtual Band" called The Global Groove Syndicate. We create original music via the internet for our own enjoyment. We currently have 3 members a keyboard player from Kingston, OH, A drummer from Tel Aviv Israel, and me who sings, plays guitar, bass, etc... All of our tunes come to be by collaborating online via a special forum we have set up just for this purpose. We have been working together since the middle of summer and have come up with what I think is some great music and have had a blast in the process. We are currently looking to add a like minded bass player to our group. I thought what better a place to find a great bass player than a bass forum! The right person needs to be creative, easy to get along with and able to lay down solid grooves in a variety of styles. Vocal ability would be a plus. Must have a home recording set-up capable of recording and swapping audio files back and forth and the ability to store such files on your personal webspace for exchange. A hi-speed internet connection would be highly recommended as these files get big!

The people we select will then have the opportunity to play on one of our tunes to make our final selection.
This project is really a labor of love more than any kind of business opportunity so understand there is no money involved just a great learning opportunity for us all and a ton of fun.
