opening a .ses file

i have a .ses file of a practice recording of a song my band has but i cant find something to open it

anyone know a free program that can play it or convert it to mp3 or something compatible with windows media player/itunes?

It's a Cool Edit Pro file. I think it's Adobe Audition now. I know Cool Edit Pro was shareware back before Adobe bought it, so you may still be able to get shareware to convert the file. I'm not sure what type of shareware it is, whether it's time limited, or feature limited. If it's time limited, you should be fine.
