I am a big follower of these guys. The music i write is definitely inspired by Mike and Martin.

Does anyone know about Martin's setup and what he uses for anything.

I don't want to emulate I just want to see what you guys think he uses.

he ALWAYS uses stock Marcus Miller jazzes nowadays although he used to use other jazzes, including a fretless. as for amps i think he just runs through fender 8X10s with a TB 1200 head, hope that helps

I am HUGE Opeth fan too btw

Also a POD XT Live
And a 5string active Fender (squire?) for The Lotus Eater.
Before he started using Fender amps he used Ampeg amps.

I really like opeth. But I don't like his sound that much.
On the last record he was trying out some new stuff soundwise but it wasn't that good.

Didn't know he switched to fender amps BTW.

I saw them last April and Martin used an Olympic white Fender Jazz Bass with a Fender head and 8x10 cab.

I know he used to use just an SVT VR and 810, with his jazz.

Since this is a thread that encompasses more than just Amps related I am moving it to Misc.
