Hi all. I was thinking about putting an as on CL to find some people to jam with, and I thought I'd see what y'all thought before I posted it. Personally, I think it's okay, but I want to try and make sure I get a response...I'm tired of playing with myself!
I’m a beginner/intermediate bassist looking for people to jam with. I used to play somewhat regularly and just recently got back into playing. Right now my only option is playing at home with CDs or drum machine, and I would like to find other musicians to play with, either just for fun or eventually leading to a gigging situation. No ego here; looking to have fun and gain more experience playing with other people. I like pretty much all genres of music and generally dabble in classic rock, country, blues, and reggae. I have a fairly full schedule with school, but I’d like to play a couple times a week at least and go from there. Like I said, I haven’t played much lately, but I have a decent ear and pick stuff up fairly quickly, so shoot me an email if you’re interested!
