Well, I finally got my band's website back up. We lost a lot of members last year and I had to shut it down.
Before I start marketing the site tho, I wanted to let my fellow "brothers and sistas of the thunder" review it. Now keep in mind that I need to add band members pics all over the site (photo shoot on Sunday), but other than that, she's about 85% ready to market.
Can you guys spare a couple of minutes to critique it for me and provide suggestions to refine it? Click on the link in my signature. All comments are welcome!!
Thanks,

| | | | Looks pretty good. I'd use a stylesheet and find another font for the main page, also I wouldnt bold everything, its easier to read but looks less professional. Other than that I dig. |

As far as the music, our soundguy was playing a joke. We were doing the song and he recorded it using only one mike pointed at no one in particular so it sounds hollow, but we'll re-record it the right way in a few weeks, but glad you like it. Our drummer wrote it and he's playing the keys, our sax player is doing the drum part (we all switch instruments a lot except for the guitarists.)

Thanks, | Only suggestion I have is to play around with the fonts a bit. The current one isn't doing anything for me. Other than that, everything looks/sounds pretty good.

A few others have mentioned changing the fonts. Since this is a jazz and gospel group, I was concerned about getting too "out there" with fonts and effects...it doesn't seem to impress our target audience and they are the ones going to our shows and paying for us to play. Whadddaya think?

Jazz clubs, churches, political parties, and gospel concerts (which are the ones hiring us) are about letting the music speak...simple and understated.
I will look at different fonts just to see if I'm missing something.
Thanks to all!!!

The only mention I have as bassist is on the "About Us" page. I'm so wrapped up in the web design function, I forgot to mention my "real" job with the band..great catch SoComSurfing!!
