I ordered a custom bass from bass central several months ago and the ship date was 8/31/10. I understand that this is an approximate ship date, however it is now 8 days past the date that I was given. What is going on??
The custom bass is an EB MM Stingray.

Bass Central would only ship an instrument via some service that would have tracking. So.... what does the tracking info say? Also, there's an assumption here that your shipping address is located in the same country as Bass Central. |

I bought a MTD off them and got a great price and prompt shipping. Great store, great service.

The custom bass is an EB MM Stingray. | The holdup most likely is MM, not Bass Central. I bought a Bongo HHP from GC a couple of years ago, and it had to be special ordered. It actually arrived about 2 months after the estimated date. The guy I was dealing with at GC called MM numerous times trying to get a firm ship date and never could get a straight answer from them. They basically told him that we'd get it when we got it.
I feel your pain, but you really have no choice but to wait it out. Beating up Bass Central won't help your cause. |

| | | | Okay thank you everyone. Forgive me I'm only human and we tend to make mistakes. Every time that I've ordered something there's always been something go wrong, from the manufacturer to the distributor, and the shipper. Also I really have been getting excited about it and several other things. I'm really am sorry to make bass central look bad, I jumped the gun on this.

I bought a Ken Smith GN 5 string from BC 2 years ago and everything went as smooth as a Beyonce's A$$ (or as smooth as I imagine it to be). Talk to them.
