Ordering Carvin equipment from Europe

Just wondering if the are any fellow euros out there who have custom ordered Carvin basses and/or bought any other Carvin equipment factory direct from San Diego. If so what were your experiences?

If you want to buy carvin in Europe, station music in Germany sells carvin basses and gear.
Station Music - The Southern Proshop and their prices are very close to what you would pay in the states.

I would bet that buying directly from Carvin in San Diego wouldn't be a really good idea seen that the shipping costs and import taxes can increase the price a lot.
