Yup. My love of playing a HS gym is only superceeded by my love of playing in a cafeteria. Two environments designed for sonic bliss.

I remember being quite impressed with the performance. I would guess that you guys do a fair share of shows like that?

Notice that we've done enough to learn that flying PA in a gym is the only way to get your vocals intelligible.
I'd say we do 40-60 shows like that every year, in addition to all the other stuff we do...

If the number of people in the band divided by the number of people in the audience is greater than 1, the gigs's over.

When I was sitting in the crowd at my high school I kept thinking, "that's cool, but how many guys who sign up get this gig." Even as an impressionable kid I thought it was about 0.00001%.
You're a lucky man. Quote: |

From dictionary.com: Quote: tr.v. raped, rap·ing, rapes - To force (another person) to submit to sex acts, especially sexual intercourse; commit rape on.
- To seize and carry off by force.
- To plunder or pillage.
| Granted, number one would be an inappropriate use of language. However, numbers 2 and 3 could apply to a gig in the topsy-turvy world of rock and roll.
