Outdoor gig question

Sign in to disble this ad
I have my earliest, and coldest gig coming up tomorrow morning. I will be outside in Buffalo, NY. It's 61º in the house right now and my fingers and forearm muscles are a little spastic just typ9ing this! See!?!?
Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this. Sound check is at 8:30 am and the gig is nonstop 10:00 to 12:15.

The weqather report is (again! )
Quote:
Tonight: Areas of frost after 3am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 33. East wind between 3 and 7 mph.

Sunday: Widespread frost, mainly before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 57. Calm wind.
Besides long underwear any suggestions?

Simplify the bass lines play slower maybe use a plectrum. Maybe some fingerless gloves might help too.

I hope you aren't playing an old aluminum neck Kramer or Travis Bean! Cold weather + aluminum neck = stiff fingers
