PA cabs and bass cabs

Sign in to disble this ad
I was just looking at such a killer bass cab in another thread. But it looked like a PA cab. Are bass cabs getting closer to being like PA cabs? In speaker and construction quality?

Or will there always be a technical difference like crossover points or?

Bass cabs, in comparison to whats generally used in a big pa, are full(er) range.

I dont think it'll ever get to the stage where people are using PA subs with the same cutoff aswell as a top for bass. some might, but i doubt it will ever become a "norm"
