Pandora : poor bass reproduction?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm just getting into the awsomeness of Pandora. However, One thing I'm noticing while listening is that the bass seems rather weak. I'm not sur if I'm just picking music where the bass is mixed low or what.

Has anyone else noticed this?
Is there an EQ option for the pandora player?

Are you using computer speakers? I get no bass response from anything on the computer unless I use headphones. I haven't noticed bass loss from Pandora, but to be honest I usually don't listen for bass seeing as I use Pandora for metal (Music I would not pay for but still want to listen to)

Bass reproduction has been fine for me. My subwoofer has it's own amp and I adjust it, if necessary, to balance out the bass.

surely it's compressed like any other radio. but if you are using computer speakers that's the problem...or worse laptop speakers, i'd be surprised if mine reproduce anything below 300hz.
