has anyone here listened to it yet? if so, is it typical pat or did he change directions with his music. i love the old pat, when he had pat thrall with him. them two could lay it down.

Dude..you mentioned Pat Travers "old" band without mentioning Mars Cowling, one of the most kick ass rock bass players ever. Turn in your bass player card. It's been revoked.

i was waitin to get slammed on that. mentionin a g*it*r player and leavin out ole mars. i knew it was goin to happen and mr. wiz im glad you brought it up. ole mars dont get no credit at all. geezer and geddy get all the attention and deservedly so. let us not forget mars ever again...lets hear it for mars


oh, can i get my card back now.

My current band plays Travers version of "Boom Boom, Out Goes the Lights." Needless to say, I don't play Mars' bassline note-for-note.

I have made it fairly repetitive. I do a number of "pops" during the intro. I play the verses as a walking bass line. It works well in our version.
