Peavey classic 30 question

Sign in to disble this ad
I know, its a guitar amp, mods, remove if you think this shouldnt be here.

It has a bit for an extension cab, and ive got a 5150 cab, ive plugged it in and it sounds awsome, but i would rather the internal speaker was bypassed. Is there any easy way to do this?

The only thing i could think to do is detatch the wires from the internal speaker, and basically connect them to a speaker cable and jack (seeing that the internal speaker is 16 ohms and the cab is also 16 ohm)

Anyone think of any better ideas, or any problems with my idea?

Cheers!
