You forgot Tacoma.

Peavey is owned, oddly enough, by the company's founder, Hartley Peavey.

Wow, i never new that, of couse, i knew they owned squier, brand x, and charvel. But they owned SWR? WOw, so how come fender amps, with the fender name on it sound like crap? and the SWR bass amps have relatively good sound?

I'd call the sound from an SWR bass amp more than "relatively good". But yeah...Fender's just stupid that way.

But no, Fender most certainly does not own Peavey.

Great amps! I wouldn't mind owning the 800 pro.

Fender also owns Sunn, which has been discontinued.

IIRC apart from the mangement structure itself, SWR has not really changed since Fender bought it..plus, how do you know whether the 8004 was a pre or post Fender one?

Granted, Fender's QC is not world reknowned, but one example of an SWR is hardly conclusive!
