What do you think? Living, I'd have to go with Les Claypool, David Gilmour, and Danny Carey, with Eddie Vedder on vocals. I don't know how the chemistry would be, but that seems to be an awesome line-up.

Sorry if this has been done.

DLR had an all-star band after VH, and it really did not work out that well.

This has been done a billion times before, but I shall indulge and do it again.

Bass- John Wetton
Guitar-Robert Fripp
Guitar- Hendrix
Drums-Billy Cobham
Trumpet- Kenny Wheeler
Vocals- Captain Beefheart

I think it would be cool just to hear the fripp/hendrix interplay.

the only problem is that each and everyone of those guys are used to being the leader of a band working under someone would just not work with some of those guys

Success in the one hit wonder way.

Sheehan left and Skyscraper was fair at best then PooF Steve Via is in Whitesnake.

If that band was truly successfull ole Dave would not have been busted buyin a dime bag. Where are they now?

Sleepytime Gorilla Museum if you are taking more eccentric music into account.

If you are just discussing rock, nobody is even the same ball park as Clutch.

Tool is among the worst bands to ever record music if you ask me.

Zeppelin rapes, pillages, burns, decimates anything Tool or Pink Floyd ever did.

Dem's fightin wurds.

Pink Floyd to Zep is like apples to peanut butter. Both are delicious, but one cannot compare to the other.
