| | | | Like Sir Paul on bass, and Eric Clapton on guitar, you might say he has some talent. |

| | | | It's hell to get old sometimes, and drums can really beat up your body after all those years.
As a slight OT, I was hired to play bass at a Chester Thompson clinic quite a few years ago. I was VERY nervous (I was just a kid at the time), and he was SO nice. I'll never forget it. He was one of those rare great players who, even though he was 100 miles above my playing level at the time, made me feel very comfortable, and resulted in me actually playing better (versus vibing and picking on players who are not at that level). VERY cool cat!
I can see why Phil digs Chester so much. |

| | | Yes! I love playing "Nuclear Burn" for people and ask them, "Who do you think is drumming?" They can't believe it's Phil because many equate him with being a mega popstar singer. Quote:

But this is not the end of his music career, as Collins told fans: 'Don't worry, I can still sing.'
| Oh, good.

Imagine if your doctor told you you could never play bass again and it's too painful to even pick up your bass. That would be hard to swallow. |

Note to self: Tell my drummer to sit up straight.
