Pickguard Decision

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey whats up guys. I have a 3 tone sunburst American P bass that I got a fe years ago. Right now it has a white pickguard (see picture), but im thinking about giving it a more 70's look and putting a red shell pickguard on it. Im thinking about buying one on ebay so if you would please http://search.ebay.com/P-bass-Shell-...fkrZ1QQfromZR8 and tell me which one (red) would look the best on my bass.

1.) Red tort pickguard

2.) Ditch the knobs, get some chrome

3.) Add an ashtray.

Then you'll be the coolest kid on your block.

EDIT: Just adding a pic to show you what a tort pickguard and an ashtray can do to make a bass look hot.

Red tort or black (for a late 70's look)
