Pickguard for a Fender Deluxe P-Bass

Does anyone know where I can find a BLACK pickguard for Fender Deluxe P-Bass?

I've tried a lot of sites and none have them. Bass Parts Resource has pickguards for them, but it's pearl and stuff. I was thinking of getting the bass, and then spraying the gold anodized pickguard black, but don't know if it's gonna work.

Anyone know where I can get a pickguard custom made?
