Pickguard style swap

Mods feel free to move.

Finally upgrading and buying my second bass after playing for a year. Currently own an Ibanez GSR100EX. I've pretty much decided on getting the Squier CV Series 60's P-bass. But I prefer the '51 pickguard. And the 50's CV is just to small of a body for me. I am curious if it is possible to get a '51 pickguard fixed upon the CV 60's.

I live about 20 minutes from Warmoth, so I will go check them out if I need to. But thought I'd run it through here first. Thanks for any input. Also wish I could get the 60's in the Lake Placid Blue, but alas. Such can not be it seems.

Short answer, no. Take a look at the two unfinished bodies and you'll see the routes are different. BTW,the bodies are the same size. Cut slightly different, sure. But Leo did not wake up in '57 saying "let's make the P Bass BIGGER".
