Picking a neck, and stuff

Hey gang,

I have a lightweight question. I am fixing up a Squier that I bough t for my son several years ago. The preferred possibility is that my daughter decides to take up bass and sticks with it the way her brother didn't. The other possibility is that she'll lose interest too.

In an effort to make the bass a little better I decided to make some mods to it. The original plan was to make it more functional, with a heavier bridge and new tuners and electronics (DiMarzio model P and J p'ups, and all new pots) and to make it 'hipper' with some cool new pickguard that I still haven't picked.

Then it occurred to me: I'm probably going to end up with this bass as my backup bass anyway. So why not finish it all up and change necks?

Moses has some very worthwhile graphite necks. I think I might get one. But I can't decide on the headstock. What sounds cooler on a Precision Plus? A Tele-style headstock or a J/P style headstock shape with a graphite strip the width of the nut surrounded by small 'wings' of natural wood?

I think they both sound awesomely cool. But it can only have one.

I suppose I should also throw in the Moses 'Hook' headstock.

This would be a great time to put up a poll, but I just realized I don't know how.

I'd say the P headstock, it'd suit the bass better and it sounds cool with the graphite strip. Sounds like its gonna be a nice bass.
