My cover band was hired as the backing band for freestyle kings TKA for their larger arena shows. This was Freestyle Extravaganza 3 at the Garden NYC on 6/21/08. We had around 15,000 folks out there cheering us on. Awesome!
Back in February we performed at Mohegan Sun Arena in CT for about 10,000 folks. Next month is Philly.
My main 4 string bass is a '96 Warwick Corvette Standard w/EMG j's and BQC controls. My preamp consists of an RNC compressor into a Sansamp BDDI into a BBE 383 which crosses my signal over to a QSC 500 watt x 2 stereo amp that I send to an Eden 4x10 and an EV 15 bottom.
I'm doubling a lot of keyboard bass so my Boss OC-2 is on the whole set and on one tune I get funky with a Boss FT-2 envelope.

Hey, thanks, that's pretty great sounding rig you're describing. I love envelope followers...I have a few...and my guitarist makes me all kinds of fuzzes too...clones and variants... I have a Royal Octave Fuzz that sounds INSANE when coupled with a MuTron or even a moogerfooger.

Congrats on your gigs as well, that's fantastic.
