So I'd like to record myself playing some stuff, while getting some practice with music reading for both guitar and bass.
So do any of you know any good books/sites where I might find some of this stuff?

Try amazon.com

Start with The Beatles in full musical score, and then proceed to anything that has ever been on the Billboard charts in the last 60 years, in sheet music form.
