Playing along with Guitar Pro software

There are lots of threads on TB about Guitar Pro (GP) software, but I have a specific question that I wasn't able to find an answer to:

When you hit "play" in GP, a vertical green bar appears on the score and follows the music as it plays. Does anyone know how to modify the green bar itself, to change its color or make it thicker, so it's easier to see?

I ask because my guitarist doesn't read music, and he relies on GP to help him learn new tunes, but the green bar is tough to follow because it's too hard to see.

Don't think you can. You should send them the request.

I do use GP but mostly to be able to remove the bass and keep the other instruments, which means I don't really look at the progress bar.

Not sure. It has plenty of display options, and I like the notes showing on the frets as they are played. The option of slower tempo, working on a phrase in the repeat mode, lots of others!

Subscribed.

honestly, he is probably just learning the wrong way. I second on working the phrase out and then looping it to play along. if you cant remember a single bar then you are going to want to practice more. eventually extend it to more bars as you memorize more notes.
