I'm looking for a gig bag that can carry two basses. If anyone has any recommendations I'd appreciate hearing them.

I've had the Fender one for about a year now with no complaints.

I don't see the Fender one on their website and zzounds has stopped carrying it. Maybe it's discontinued?

Yup, got that one. Sturdy and plenty of room for accessories.

How much are you trying to spend? I got a lowend double for graduation a couple years back and I love it. They run $250 last I checked.

Love this company. Great folks that make a time honored product. I've had a double-electric bass case, a case for my upright and for my amp that have lasted 15 years.

A relatively cheap alternative is the Gator double bag. The make-believe leather one is about $100 +/- and the cloth one is about $70 +/-. I have the cloth one which does a nice job of protecting the basses, but the handle is a POS .... no padding and very uncomfortable to carry. It's fine using the shoulder strap, though.

I don't use the double much, too much weight since my basses are all heavy. I have the LowEnd single bag, which is fantasic and a Gator single, which is also pretty cool. If I ever decide to upgrade the double bag I'll likely go to the LowEnd .... it's really a high grade piece of gear ....

I have no complaints with my levys I had an older levys one that I didnt like so much the newer one which has two seperate compartments so two zippers is much better than the older one I dont really like those cases that just have a divider.

Not a lot. This'd be only for really sporadic use, so there's no point in me spending a lot on it.

Thanks for all the answers everyone! I'm going to look into the Fender or Levy's bags, because I know I can get those brands locally.

I have a nice Low End leather double bag. It's very cool and works well. If you are interested I will sell it for 175.00 plus shipping.

Don't bother with Gator's deluxe "fake leather" double gig bag. They don't hold up. The fake leather on mine ripped at one of the carrying handles within a month of having it. It's still usable and, otherwise, well made but I'm not rough with my equipment and expected it to hold up much better.

I have a Levy's double bag that has worked really well. I hardly ever bring 2 basses, but I can. I wish I could afford an InCase bag. They look really nice.

I bought one of these:
http://www.thomann.de/be/rockbag_rb20611.htm

I've been using it since october to go to school every day (a 2 hour trip including a tram, train and 20 mins by foot) and although it has some minor scratches its still in good condition and so are my basses

That looks interesting. Unfortunately, I did a a quick Google and it looks like the standard main-line vendors don't appear to be carrying them here in the USA.

That older one is the one I have...I don't love it but it works. I'd much rather have two separate compartments though.
