This was the first video I saw of the Jonas Brothers. My reaction was quite similar to the one Miley Cyrus video I saw...I wanted to see what the big deal was about. Each time-I should have watched something else.

Of course, anyone who refers to things as "awesome" in 2009 is presumptively an eftard, but to be unable to spell a word that probably constitutes 20% of your working vocabulary?

If I had a child I would want them to be interested in the jonas brothers, at least it's music. Might as well make threads about how dumb GI Joe was, or how unrealistic Full House is. IT'S FOR LITTLE KIDS.

| | I'm a tumbler, born under punches | | Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Northern California | | I started a "worst covers" thread here in misc, but I'm not sure it needs more Jonas Brothers. That was just incredibly awful. Who would even suggest that they cover that song? They can't come close to matching Stevie Wonder's musical abilities and they can't come close to matching his vocal ability either, even though they try to use his inflections which just makes it more annoying. And that's to say nothing of the lack of groove.
I don't really want to see them butchering any more classic songs, but that one was a failure from the moment someone thought of it. The number of people that have the talent to do good covers of Stevie Wonder songs (Jeff Beck for example) is pretty small. Quote:

I hate disney - it's like the guitar center of the entertainment biz - sure there's some good that comes out of it, but it's all marketing and low-end product sales that matters.
The sad part is that there are people my age who like them just as much as pre-teens |

I don't think I'll be taking you seriously...
