TB'ers, let's see and find out about your bands, groups, ensembles, or whatever they may be. It doesn't matter if your band plays covers or originals, or metal or jazz. Please post pics, links, and/or just tell us about your band. We'd all love to find out about the bands of the TB community!

Ok... I'll start.

Winslow is proud to announce the release of the first single from our next album!

Quarter-life

"Quarter-life" was produced by Grammy Award winning producer Edwin Tony Nicholas (Gerald Levert, Barry White, Joe, Mary J Blige, and many more), and can be heard at the Winslow Official Website or on radio stations in the greater Cleveland area.

I know it's a little... elaborate. But, I'm just exited about what we're doing... no harm there. Please share what you're doing.

Bass players are too modest. You'll get heaps of replies on a guitar forum.

I'm in a cover band. We play a lot, so I guess we're OK.

I play in a post-punk band called Ideal Fathers. We are breaking up this summer, but we are releasing a new ep before we do that. It'll be free on our website http://idealfathers.com

I also play in a rock band called The Outfit, though the name is likely to change soon. We just put a new album out. Http://choosetheoutfit.bandcamp.com

I'm in a Top-40 Cover band out of Boston called "Midnight Goggles." We play some of the cliche bar covers, but with a greater focus on current dance/pop.

I'm in a 5 piece alternative/metal band. We're just starting to break out of our shell and play some shows.

Whitewoodfunk.
If QOTSA, Led Zeppelin, and Clutch met in bar and had a 3 way in the bathroom, our sound may be the love child of that....

I'm in a progressive metal band called The Conjuration, we have a few recordings out. Please ignore the wall of sound mix, the mastered versions of these songs sound so much better. (The metal thing only applies some of the time, we're just at home playing Yes and Genesis as we are Opeth, we even play jazz!!!)

I'm currently playing with the Brodie Stewart Band, a modern country outfit from NorCal. You can check out our debut video here:

Good timing. We just launched our updated Website today.

Andy Gibson Band*Andy Gibson Band *home

Disclosure... among the pix there are three different guys playing bass. 1) Andy, the BL/songwriter (who is a suck-a** bass player by his own admission and gave it up when I joined), 2) the guy who played bass before I joined (and has since switched to lead guitar) and me (the guy in the black shirt with the black 78 P-Bass... 2nd from left in the pics on the homepage).

The leadoff track on the site ("No Plans") is nothing special... not sure why it's on there. "Feel Good" is a much better tune and has gotten a fair amount of regional airplay.

I'm currently "band less;" the folk group I play with is taking a hiatus, as is the art-rock band. However, I have always been doing my freelance theatre work, and I have a six-seven week run (Tues-Sun shows) at one of my recent favorite theatres to work in, starting in two weeks.

The theatre is the Mason Street Warehouse, and it's just an electrifying place to play at, or be a part of. I'm looking forward to going back for a second year. Plus, the MD relied on me to help him pick the other members of the band, so I have a lot riding on this summer.
