Pod X3 Live play along

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all,
I have a Pod X3 LIVE that I use for recording and just general playing around with. I would like to be able to play along with either Itunes, Windows Media Player (preferred), or Winamp with the headphones plugged into the POD.
The POD connects USB to my laptop and shows up as a sound device. My headphones plug directly into the POD.
I can't see any way to change my audio player's playback settings to use the POD.
I CAN do this in my recording studio software but that would be a pain.
Thanks!

Gearbox (line 6 software) has a player in it that you can play songs and even slow down the songs, loop passages to play. But if you want to use an player you can usually open your Mixer on your computer and select the Line 6 as your speakers.

I use my line 6 in live and rehearsal situation going direct to the board. I run Live Professor to run my synths which uses the Line 6 as an amplifier, I also run a Korg DS-10 through the aux for additional keys and soundeffects. Everything I play I run through there and when at home for composing I just plug in the headphones. Hope that helps if not let me know and we'll work it out!

cheers!

I found it to be pretty simple. I just went into sounds in my control panel and changed the audio playback device to the line6.
I will definately check out the Gearbox player when I get a chance. Problem solved! thanks!
