As some of you know, last year I started and Police Tribute band called Synchronicity IV. It got moth-balled due to various other commitments.... Dammed Other Commitments.... This is a side project, and our main projects pushed this thing aside.
Well, that busyness has subsided, and Synchronicity IV is back in business!
We had our first practice in over a year last night. Not too bad for not playing together for so long and not having a drummer at the moment. Our Stew from last year is going gangbusters with his main project so he simply can't do this at this time. Amazingly, considering how hard it is to sing some of Stings VOX, my voice is still intact this morning. I really have to squeeze a nut to hit some of those crazy Sting high notes!!!!!! :-)
Here is a related
Talk Bass thread.
PS. This is the third jump-start of this project. Here is what happened
on the first attempt to do this project! Seeing that Copeland is known for storming out of rehearsals, you could say our first drummer truly was the perfect Stew incarnation!
PPS.... Have I mentioned that "Driven To Tears" is a freaking hard song to sing and play. The VOX are so disjointed from the bass line!
