Question Portable stand?

Not sure that this is the right category, but I'm looking for recommendations for a bass stand. Here's what I'd like:
  1. Portable for gigs
  2. Will securely support my Tobias Growler (very asymmetric butt)
  3. Inexpensive.

What are y'all using?

I have checked out the US stands, but felt the legs were a bit spindly feeling compared to the Hercules.

This beats the hercules in how small it can be collapsed.. And it's just as good of a stand. It's actually better than the US stand that self locks around the head stock, because the moving parts in that are plastic.. This is an awesome stand. Guarantee you'll be happy with it.

I just take a $7.99 average guitar stand, I place my bass far enough back on the stage people don't grab for it, if I cannot do that it goes in the case.

I also only take one bass to a show... don't see the need for more.

I bought a Hercules double stand for gigs. Amazing. I also bought a Hercules 6 guitar "tree" for my music room. A++

Was always a Hercules hater cuz I thought price wise it was a little steep. After being an owner worth every cent

For multiple instruments I bring one of these:

They are available in 5 and 7 instrument versions, too.
