Portland OR area bassists - Italia strap?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm not sure if this is kosher but I didn't know where else to put this.

I want to get an Italia strap. I've heard good things about them and they are still having their buy one get one sale.

So if there is somebody in the Portland Oregon area that would like to go halves on the cost we can both get a strap.

Jerry,

I missed your post... but I just received the 2 for 1 in the mail today. These are NICE straps! Cannot wait to get home and put them on.

Hey if you want to let one of those go I would like to buy one off of you to try it out.

I recently bought an ultra wide Levy but it's not working for me. i'd like to try the Italia before spending the bucks on the Moody.

Jerry, you pay the shipping both ways and I'd be more than happy to let you try one of them out for a test drive... or, we can meet up if you are here in town. I'll PM you my cell number.

I dropped by Portland Music on the way home and picked up some new Schaller strap locks. Unfortunately the Italia straps are 2 layers of THICK leather and the holes punched in them are not large enough diameter. These straps are QUALITY!!!

I just did the same thing with my new Italia straps. I had to make the hole a bit larger and actually sanded some of the leather down so it was thinner. It was a real pain, but I finally got it to work on my new(used) Peavey RJ IV. Woo hoo!
