Post a Pic of your bass strap, with badges/buttons

A lot of folks prefer a plain strap. I mostly do, but sometimes you get a few special things and you just have to stick 'em on the strap and before long you get a few more and they get out of hand...kinda like case stickers.

Case in point: Strap pictured below is Fender/Levy's leather, goes with my Jazz Bass. I cut the Fender leather logo out and replaced it with one of the pins, as follows:

1. Catbus pin (see avatar);
2. WWII era ID badge from the Glenn L Martin Company of Baltimore MD. My grandfather's, and my dad worked there too which makes me a third generation Federal contractor;
3. another WWII era badge off my dad's Army uniform. Not sure of significance but it has to do with Maryland and it looks cool.

Enough show your bass, SHOW YOUR STRAP!

I've got another black nylon one with a Voivod button, but that's it.

This one is way cool. I'd be nervous about gigging with it!

I'm nervous enough about gigging with the bass sometimes, but I am pretty much a one bass-bassplayer (see earlier thread on that.) We're doing a show in downtown DC next week (2 blocks from work). Since I won't be able to go home to get it and I'll have to send the SX P-bass over with the drummer.

I've got a (black) plain cloth strap with a strip of duct tape on it. Not sure why I put that on there, it just seemed like a good idea at the time.

I have a generic black strap, with schaller straplocks (with a large washer on each strap lock), and a spring-loaded pickholder on it.

EDIT: I'll get a pic later.

Although I don't have a pic of it, I used to keep a hat device from a Russian military uniform on my strap. It was given to me by thier minister of defense.
