| Here are several recent reviews about my band. We are always humbled and honored when people (especially fellow musicians) write such glowing reviews about our band.

I went out to see "The Conniptions" last night. Wow, what a treat!
I've been around the music scene for quite a while now, and I've heard lots of three piece bands. Generally three piece bands are very one dimensional and don't impress me. But these guys ROCKED. They were extremely tight on everything they did. And they performed songs from the '50's up to today. Their vocals were spot-on with every player sharing lead and backup roles.
I was super impressed by their instrumental pieces because the Guitar player, Bass player, and Drummer sometimes played off of each other to combine as a single unit sound. I told them that was the best version of "Time Is Tight" I've ever heard without an organ.
The drummer was the kind drummer that I strive to be. Not just a rhythm machine, but another musical element involving rhythm, melody, and dynamics.
If you ever get the opportunity, go check out "The Conniptions". They are the "Best of Breed" in three piece bands.

I heard the Conniptions and I was impressed. I thought they were a tight band, with good vocals and a variety of music. Keep up the good work guys. I always manage to get a jaw dropping performance or set when I see them play.
I have a ton of respect for trios since Ive been in two of them myself. Its a ton of ground for ALL members of the band to cover.
HELL UP to one of the area's premier bands!

The Conniptions have one of the cleanest sounds I've ever heard. I think any musican could learn something from their dynamics and sound control.

I went to the Thunder In The Valley Motorcycle Festival Train Station Stage to check out part of The Conniptions’ set. The band performed mostly classics; but threw a few surprises in along the way, such as The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army,” Devo’s “Whip It” and Bon Jovi’s “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.” This group’s execution was airtight and clean, and their vocals were sharp and on the mark. What I saw from The Conniptions was good and the crowd enjoyed their efforts as well.

I arrived at The Cambria City Ethnic Festival in time to see 3 piece power trio The Conniptions doing their energetic mixture of vintage rock with a few surprises. The band did tried and trusty classics, like Free’s “All Right Now,” Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Gimme 3 Steps,” Jethro Tull’s “Locomotive Breath,” Them’s “Gloria” and more. But they also dug out some surprises, breaking out renditions of the Ventures’ “Walk Don’t Run,” Edison’s Lighthouse’s “Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes,” and a 1972 original song, “Boogie Music.” And they also tapped the modern vein, doing White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army.” The audience – both passers by and seated – enjoyed it. |
