Whether you dig their schtick or not, they are a ridiculously tight band. |

Gave it a whirl and it's got right under my skin for some reason, even though it's not the usual stuff I listen to. I think it's the fantastic percussion and syncopation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6u7b...eature=related
Like the OP, I also went through a nostalgia trip with 'Roundabout' a week or two back. Spooky! Found I could still play it almost note for note after not touching it since one of my bands stopped covering it around 30 years ago - a few fluffed notes but not too bad...and this when I can't remember what I came upstairs for these days

Also Erykah Badu's "love of my life". Sickness. |

I CRAVE this song on a regular basis. O'death - Home http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGu7cG9ZfJo It's what I always imagine Neil Young sounds like, except way better. This chorus just sticks with you for days (I love Neil Young btw) Russian Circles - Carpe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54e2ZbiLems Dave Turncrantz drumming, enough said. (yeah, I actually get his drumming stuck in my head)

Some of the best ZZ Top songs are the ones you NEVER heard on the radio. IMHO.
