Posting to youtube - copyright infringement

Sign in to disble this ad
I was just doing some covers and posted on youtube and apparently all these sites can detect what song it is and a big warning about copyright infringement comes up. I didn't know this. It freaked me out at first, cause I got it on both youtube and facebook.

I just wanted to post them for myself and maybe to show one person. There's so many people on youtube giving lessons or playing along to some well known song, so it seems I'm just being paranoid maybe?? I been under a rock so not up on the times, but of course heard about people getting kicked off, accounts deleted etc.
