Powertab help =o

I'm working on a song with my band, and I wanted to put the bass part on powertab. Of course, since nothing works out for me, I tried to set the string count from 4 to 6, and it didn't work. Has that happened to anyone else?

I'm pretty sure it only allows you to change this when you start a 'new' page/song. When you start a 'new' song, a pop up appears asking how many strings you want on both guitars and bass. It doesn't allow me to have a opened song and change it to 6 string.
