My apologies, I couldn't help myself.

You may be having a slight dig, but you're on to a pet peeve of mine. Firstly, I'm a big fan of vinyl, the big artwork, the putting the record on the turntable, the flipping it, the few seconds of hiss before your record starts, the sound, I love it all.
However, digital recordings that are just thrown to the pressing plant for vinyl pressing along with CD pressing are a half-assed job. The two formats have different aural nuances and that should be reflected on how the mastering is done. Recordings mastered for CD and then just thrown onto vinyl to hit the collectors/hipster market sound much, much worse than recordings mastered specifically for a vinyl release.
