 Primus in 3D
I saw the Primus in 3D show last night at the Wiltern. A three hour setlist with 3D animations on the projector screen behind them made for quite a memorable evening! Truth be told, the animations themselves were pretty bland and cookie cutter (more or less old windows screen saver animations in front of random film clips), but it still added a nice touch.
They played every hit they've ever come out with, plus tons of their less popular/well known songs. Ending it with Too Many Puppies was perfect. The sound was fantastic, the playing tight, the stage presence good, and the pig masks nostalgic. All in all, it was a kickass show. If you're in the Bay area over the next couple days, you have no excuse for not seeing it.
