Saw them play a show at DAR Constitution Hall in DC last night. Short set list (10 songs + 1 encore), but solid nonetheless. They played De Anza Jig and even encored w/ Wynona I got Les to sign my cellphone after the show as well.. haha.. Regardless, I'm completely tired at work today, but the drive was worth it.. That is all, carry on!

Haha, that cellphone signature is going to fade sooner or later unless you just stop using that phone =P I can't wait till they come to NYC, which is today, or tomorrow I think =) Unfortunately I can't let les sign my basses because they are all mahagony bodied and roseword fingerboarded and a black signature won't show up

Seeing Primus live is why I"ll Never, EVER, try acid in my life. Do you ever walk away from a primus show, and feel like you just woke up in a field after being abducted?

Primus is one of the best live bands out there.

I just wish they would do a new album already. I didn't go to this tour because they are playing the exact same songs as the last tours they did a couple years ago.

Wow, solid setlist even if it doesn't have anything from Animals (I really dig that one).

The definitely need to do a new full length.

Primus Sucks

Damn you got to see Nature Boy!? That's one of my favorite Primus songs (definitely my favorite from Pork).
Anyway, I SAW EM LAST NIGHT TOO!! This was my 6th Claypool concert (4th with Primus). Awesome as usual.

Les/Primus has been in town 3 times in the last couple years.

I have bought tickets to each show.

I have never actually been to one of the shows.

For some reason, there's always some logistical problem that arises like 4 hours before the concert. I'm so angry about it.

Hopefully I will be able to get out to the show next friday.

Why such a short set? When I saw them in Ashville a few years back they did a 3 hour show. It was amazing, Sailing The Seas of Cheese all the way through.

I saw 'em last night in The Roseland Ballroom. Best concert I've ever been to. Sub-par crowd, though. Especially before the opening band came on...

This tour has an opener and is a standard 'short-set' tour. The last 2 tours played albums all the way through. Regardless, I saw Primus in Philly on Friday and they played Hamburger Train AND Master of Puppets! Much better show than DC, both in energy and setlist.

I saw em a few weeks ago. It seemed like they did a lot from Seas of Cheese, including Seas of Cheese, American Life, Jerry Was a Racecar Driver, Here Come the Bastards, Sgt. Baker, and Those Damned Blue Collared Tweekers. Great, solid show. I went with my band and it really inspired us to get tighter musically.
