Primus Show (Austin 11/01)

Anyone else go to the primus show in Austin tonight? It was pretty amazing. I've only recently gotten into Primus, but Claypool is just ridiculously fast. The opening band was pretty good too. They had a tuba player, a guitar, and a drummer/singer. I used to play tuba in middle/high school and never would have thought of this kind of application for it. All in all it was very good show. Anyone else there?

what songs did they perform? Last time I saw them they played 'Frizzle Fry' front to back.

Lots off of Cheese, but no Cat (strangely).

Still a fully amazing performance.

I wonder if they'll have the recording up for sale soon?

Weren't they supposed to be renovating Austin Music Hall? Didn't look all that renovated to me.

Nope, I was at the Social Distortion show at Stubbs on that night. Me and a buddy drove to the Austin and San Antonio shows from Houston. I didn't even get to see them in Houston. maybe next year/time.
