Printing Cardboard sleeves for CD's

Anyone got any ideas on how to go about printing decent quality cardboard sleeves in a DIY manner? Is there card for printing stuff like this that I could use in a high quality printer or is this something that a professional printer would have to do?

Just an idea...

Carefully disassemble a cardboard cover, and maybe trace it onto another piece, carefully cut it out as a template and see if Kinko's or some place like that can make the cuts for you.

You might want to try tracing it onto a piece of paper to make sure you can get the folds right.

Again, just an idea, never done it or anything...

I forgot to mention- a lot of laser printers can do cardstock- depending on how thick the cardstock you want to use.

How many do you want to make? If you aren't doing very many, it is a very cool thing to do unique prints, i.e. everyone is slightly unique.

If you are doing a lot, it's honestly worth it to find a place to do it for you. There are super cheap package deals out there now.

Making them isn't a problem I'll just get a blade and cut them out once their printed printing is though.
I don't know how many we're going to make yet. It might be easier just to stick to printing something on a piece of paper and shoving it in a CD case.
But I think it would look cooler if we had a design on a card sleeve

Hmmm I might be able to get at a laser printer. The card I want to use is the same thickness as any other kind of card sleeve you get.

Would there be a problem with the card getting damaged or going all curly as it runs through the rollers in a printer?
