Unhappy Problem....

Hey Guys! I have a HUUUGEE problem and I hope you can help me... a band has asked me to go with them for 20 days to New York... the problem is that by June 15 I must have learnt all the 50 songs they play and my exams finish the day before...They have given me 4 for now to see how i'll cope... As if this wasn't enough there are no tabs or sheets on Google and no lessons or covers on You tube... I don't have the time to learn them by ear and that's why I'm asking your help. The songs are :
1) The Creeps-Change It
2) The Creeps-Ooh I like it
3) Propellerheads ft Shirley Bassey - History Repeating
4) Juliet Edwards- Cajun Moon

So if you know any of the songs I would appreciate a tab ... Pls help I'm DESPERATE! NY isn't a chance to be missed...At least for people in Greece like me.

Hi.

Welcome to TalkBass amysky94.

I don't use tabs so unfortunately I can't help there.
If those tunes are what I remember them to be, they're pretty easy to even fake through though, if not play note for note.
No offense, but if those are a struggle, the rest of the tunes will probably be even more so.

There is a TAB sub-forum though, You can ask a mod to move this thread there.
Double posting gets in here.

That IMO (coming from a 42 year old who eventually chose education over the rock-star dream at an earlyish age ) pretty much decides things for You.
Concentrate on the exams, and even though it feels bad, let this opportunity pass.

Wow - 20 days in NY, sounds like fun.

Learn as much of as many of the songs you can by June 15 - I doubt you need all 50 right away. Start by charting them out as it can be hard to remember so many songs in a short period of time. You can learn the rest while you're in NY as you should have all the time that you're not actually gigging to nail down the songs.

You don't have a problem, you have an opportunity - Have fun

School will always be there, opportunities like this are usually far and few.
