Hey all,
A quick tread here,
Doe's anyone have problems with there belt, while playing?
After playing a show about 4 months ago, I was cleaning my bass, I notied a tiny little ding on the back, and I knew where it came from, my belt.
Doe's anyone have a story or know about a produce that doesn't ding the bass?
Thanks.

Many turn their belt to one side. Some wear braces (suspenders for You Across The Pond, but that means something entirely different over here........) and I suppose you could always wear trousers with an elasticated waistband!
Bucklewear is a badge of honour - let your bass wear it proudly!!!!! |

I realize not every one has elk hide on hand (my wife and I are leather crafters). You could do the same with a piece of cloth or thin vinyl.
Otter.

Otter. | Not elk hide, but I used to do the same thing with a red or blue bandana/handkerchief. Put half behind the buckle, and let the other half drape out over the buckle. Works like a charm. Of course if you're dressed up, and not wearing jeans, it'd look like excrement...

lower it to your knees

So it's a habit from DB playing.
all the best.
