Problem Contacting guitarpartsresource.com

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone know how to get a hold of Guitar Parts Resource (http://guitarpartsresource.com)? My wife bought me a bridge for my Fender Sting Precision for Christmas that I need to return or exchange. Since 12/28/2009 I have tried:

1. Emailing them at sales@guitarpartsresource.com
2. Calling them at 740-467-2823 (left message)
3. Faxing them at 740-467-3245
4. Contacting them via their online "Ask us a question" form

I get no answer from them no matter what I try. Does anyone know anything about them or how I can contact them?

Thanks,
Mike

They've been really hard to contact for the past wee while. I used to buy all my stuff from them, but recently I emailed them three times to find out when a certain item was coming in, and didn't get a reply.

Shame, because I'd recommended them on these boards, but I'd think twice now.

Ive had so many bad experiences with those guys, wrong items, broken items etc..

Last order with them they sent the wrong item (was a $2 bit), contacted them, they told me to send it back and they'd send me the right one.. I'm in Australia, the postage would have been more than the item, its THEIR fault, THEY should fix it..

having said that it took 3 emails to get a response, in the past I've not been able to get ANY responses, worst dealer I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.

My experience with them was almost exactly the same.

Their customer service really sucks.

I appreciate your responses! I never did hear from Guitar Parts Resource, so I contacted my credit card company with my original email to GPR and my log of trying to contact them. They issued a chargeback and credited my account. If and when GPR contacts me, I will be happy to ship the bridge back to them (if GPR pays the shipping).

I hadn't had a bad mail order experience in a while; hopefully, they'll be few and far between.

Thanks,
Mike
