I was thinking about painting the grill cloth on my ampeg 810 cab (I know what you are thinking....just leave it alone, but I get bored with stuff). I know grill cloth is coated in plastic to be transparent. So my question is; would it change the sound enough to notice if I paint the cloth with a very thin coat of paint.
If that is a bad idea, is there a regular cloth that can be used other than actual grill cloth? I need something orange!
