Programming Roland GR-77B with PG-800

Just wondering how many of you have experience dealing with these two members of the Roland family. Bought the GR-77B a few months ago and just got the PG-800 after a celebrity death-match on eBay.

I wish the manual were more user friendly, but I guess that was the way things were back then. Editing an existing patch is not bad, actually is a breeze when using the PG-800. Creating a patch from scratch by hitting the "manual" button on the PG800 is proving more challenging.

Have you guys had experience with the above? Maybe we could share experiences and post them here?

Thank you all.
